The Vic Lawrence 7 is a seven-piece swing band inherited from mentor Vic Lawrence (Victor Bland), a tenor player who led the band to popularity in the 70s and 80s in Toronto. 

Toby Hughes brings back the fabulous swing ensemble, The Vic Lawrence 7 Orchestra! Joining Toby and his saxophone onstage are Kasey Dean Sikora on trumpet, Jacqueline Chia on trombone, Nathaniel Edgar on piano, Gram Whitty on bass, Leigh Robinson on drums and May Akanuma on tenor saxophone.
The band is a revival of the original Vic Lawrence 7 book and was put together under the tutelage of Vic Bland (Lawrence) himself!
They play classic Big Band swing peppered with individual features and vocals.

Come on out and join the fun! Learn the joyful classic Swing Dance done around the world!
