So much fun on the patio at Grossman's Tavern this afternoon! The band, Chuck Clarke, Jacqueline Chia, Jack King, Chris Daniels, and myself were joined by so many friends and music lovers on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Musical guests included Pat Blanchard and Lucio on trombones, Fred Spek on tenor sax, Mary Simpson on vocals, Beverly Taft on vocals, Kevin O'Heany on percussion, Pauline and Kennetha on vocals, Patrick Lynch on vocals and all the wonderful dancers! It felt like a street festival with hotdogs and hamburgers on the barbecue, live music and cold beer. Tim ruled the barbecue, organized the seating arrangements and even brought some flowers and greenery to brighten things up. Both Christine and Tonny Louie were on hand while Gillian served the drinks and later Alex and Liz Wong jumped behind the bar the help out. I do hope we can keep this up throughout the summer!
