BERTIE and THE GENTS at BLACK CREEK PIONEER VILLAGE
"A Spirited Affair" with Roberta Hunt, Toby Hughes, Manfred Koch, Jack Zorawski and Glenn Anderson providing the entertainment as guests are whisked into the late 1940s to listen and dance to boogie-woogie swing music while sipping on craft beer, whisky and wine, paired with local gourmet food. Doors at 7pm. $80 per person.

Sunday at noon join leader Syd Calvert and The Excelsior Jazz Band at The Rex Hotel. Dixieland, New Orleans Style Jazz, Blues and more. Always a happy time! Kid friendly, cheap breakfast before 12pm. Music runs from 12noon to 3pm. No cover, PWYC.
THE N.O. CONNECTION ALL STARS at GROSSMAN'S TAVERN
Grossman's Home of The Blues plays host every Sunday afternoon to The N.O. Connection All Stars fronted by Chuck Clarke on trumpet. Traditional New Orleans style jazz brings you back to the dance hall years. Kid friendly, room to dance. Always a bevy of special guests! Music starts at 4:30 and runs until 8pm or later. $5 suggested donation at the bandstand.

Miz Debbie leads THE DON VALLEY STOMPERS on Tuesday October 6th and THE XTRA LITES on Thursday October 15th at Grossman's Tavern. Jazz, Blues, Gospel, and some R & B. Music generally starts between 9:30pm and 10pm. 19+. No cover, PWYC.

Barbara Jordan sings with her All Star Band at Seven44 (formerly the Chick 'n Deli). New Orleans style jazz, 20’s 30’s traditional jazz and swing. Music starts at 4pm. $5 at the door.

THE MAGNOLIA RHYTHM KINGS at THE ROYAL OAK, OTTAWA
The Magnolia Rhythm Kings approach to Classic Jazz is traditional in form and style, but adventurous in repertoire, like that of the original New Orleans and Chicago musicians. From early street parade rhythms and low down blues to the happy dancing sounds of the Jazz Age and subsequent revivals, Californian, British and elsewhere, the Magnolia play with enthusiasm, energy and a love for the music. Band led by Bob Misner. The Royal Oak is located at 329 March Road in Kanata. Music starts at 2pm.
FRIDAY OCTOBER 30th
FRANKIE FOO and THE YOYO SMUGGLERS at GROSSMAN'S TAVERN
Best dance party of the year with Frankie Foo's infectious blend of ska, rocksteady and R&B. Halloween theme, prizes for best costumed couples and singles. Music starts at 10pm. $5 suggested donation at the bandstand. 19+.

BERTIE and THE GENTS at DOVERCOURT HOUSE
Halloween themed swing dance at the beautiful Dovercourt House. Beginner lessons start at 7pm. Dance party at 9:10pm. Cover charge and further details TBA.
